It’s like the proverbial broken record–or, I guess that would be “broken CD” in today’s jargon. This summer will be the time of that explosion in the Middle East that will set the world aflame, with petroleum the accelerant that ignites the conflict. We have heard the same dire predictions for at least the past five years. Still, the explosion hasn’t come.
I’ve received numerous copies of Joel Rosenberg’s blog article with the title “War this Summer?" and I’ve heard him talking about all-out war in the Middle East since before he spoke to the Pre-Trib Research Center group in Dallas a number of years ago. Rosenberg is not the only one who has declared early in every year recently past that war will erupt during the summer. Many have predicted that something would happen to spark war so violent that that prophetic region will not be able to contain the devastation. The likely results, it has been said by some, will be the “presumed” Psalms 83 war, or even the Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39.

Dr. Max Singer a senior research fellow at the Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies says the only chance for real peace in the Middle East is if the western nations convince the Arabs that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring about peace in the region.
Singer believes that the continual denial by the PA leadership of the Jewish people’s ancient connection to the land of Israel and the sacred significance to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount where once stood two Jewish temples will hinder any peace efforts to the two peoples to coexist in the Middle East and thus only enhance the continuing conflict.
In spite of the fact that the PA Mufti Sheikh Sabri, the high ranking Islamic cleric, claims there has never been a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount, Jewish scholars cite many historic and Biblical sources to confirm that Jews have a 3000 year old connection to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem.

There will be no ultimate peaceful solution to the Iranian nuclear standoff. From early in the turn of the century, Iran has been cooperative just enough to prevent firm opposition while developing its nuclear program. Since it is a member of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty with the United Nations, UN inspectors were supposed to have access to Iran’s nuclear developments. This, however, was based on a cat and mouse game that Iran played by not allowing inspectors, then allowing them restricted access, and so on. Iran also had on its side the Islamic UN inspector, Mohamed ElBaradei, who continuously said he saw no evidence of a nuclear weapons program. This is modeled after an ancient Muslim treaty.
The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah was executed between Mohammed and the Quraish tribe of Mecca in 628 AD. It was a ten year peace treaty resulting from the Quraish preventing Mohammed’s pilgrimage to Mecca. In essence, the treaty was a huge defeat for Mohammed and his band of marauders disguised as a religion. There were many parts to the treaty. It prevented Mohammed from entering Mecca for a year; anyone wanting to join Mohammed from Quraish against the family’s wishes must be returned, but anyone from Mohammed’s gang joining Quraish would not be returned. Mohammed, now at peace with Quraish, raided others and gained strength over the next year.

The man who occupies the Oval Office is asking Americans and America’s strongest ally in the Middle East to judge him by his foreign policy actions, not his words. Trouble is, however, his words are sending so many different signals, we do not know the intent of his actions. To the public, he is saying Israel is America’s strongest ally in the Middle East and that its security is the primary goal of the United States. His deeds, however, are decidedly polar to his words. He is either living a delusional life or trying to deceive Americans and Israelis into believing he is acting in good faith while he is in reality undermining both countries. Either way, he has embarked on a dangerous prophetic path of Biblical proportions.
In a March 6 news conference, he said,
"When I came into office, Iran was unified, on the move, had made substantial progress on its nuclear program, and the world was divided in terms of how to deal with it. What we’ve been able to do over the last three years is mobilize unprecedented, crippling sanctions on Iran. Iran is feeling the bite of these sanctions in a substantial way. The world is unified; Iran is politically isolated."

Congressman Allen West, a Republican from the state of Florida, has warned that the state of Israel could become the site of a second Jewish Holocaust if the United States does not take further actions to protect the Jewish state against Iran. West, who is a veteran of the Iraq War, also warned that the current political turmoil in the Middle East could lead to a number of Arab and or Islamic states engaging Israel in a full blown Middle Eastern war.
Congressman West said that creation of a Hamas led Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders is the most egregious foreign policy decision that’s ever been made and could lead to the beginning of the end for the Jewish state of Israel.

There is a sense among many at this moment in history that impending disaster presses against the fabric of life on planet earth from every side. This is not mere paranoia pushing against the collective anxiety-ridden psyche of a world uncertain about its future. The threat is real, and it is in Bible prophecy. A quick scan of issues, events, and anticipated actions testify to the reality of the threat and validates the angst.
Israel is ground zero for much of the fear pressing upon a world full of dread. The Jewish state is considered the trigger point for possible nuclear conflict in the Middle East–conflict that is sure to spread globally once unleashed. Iran is the antagonist that is the cause of the most immediate threat to regional and world peace–although the world diplomatic community seems intent on making Israel responsible for keeping war from erupting. This is the way it is, despite the fact that the Iranian regime’s leaders threaten to wipe Israel off the map.

The middle east is in almost perfect order for the war named in the Holy Bible, “Gog And Magog”. God’s glory (His Visible Manifestation or Shekinah) will be seen by the world.
“And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:22-23)
If you think God is not about to reveal Himself, you should get back in His Holy Bible. Here are two incredible statements by Holy Ghost directed prophets,
“Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, (Isaiah 64:1)
