The man who occupies the Oval Office used Jesus as one of the reasons he is supporting same sex marriage. Anyone who supports same sex marriage and claims to be a Christian is not following the "Jesus" of the Bible, Yeshua Ha Mashiach. In fact, the president’s concept on this particular issue demonstrates his lack of Christianity by cherry picking verses to support his position. But then again, isn’t that the hallmark of much of the Christian church these days? Isn’t this at least part of the reason why America is in the condition it is in? Many pastors are preaching a different gospel from the pulpit than what is written in scriptures, turning generations away from the ancient path.

The man who occupies the Oval Office told ABC News:
"I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married."

America’s first President, George Washington, articulated a vision for the United States in his farewell address given in September 1796 that did not include political parties or class warfare–two ingredients that have culminated in a divided nation just as Washington prophesied 216 years ago. Washington said,
"Citizens, by birth or choice, of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. The name of American, which belongs to you in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of patriotism more than any appellation derived from local discriminations. With slight shades of difference, you have the same religion, manners, habits, and political principles."
How far have "We the People" strayed from this statement? In the name of progress, we have become a nation without pride of patriotism. We have so many religions and versions of religions that we have barely no religion at all. We are actually celebrating diverse manners and habits. We are a divided nation where some cling to Constitutional principles and others undermine it with their justification that man progresses and so, too, should the Constitution. By Washington’s standards, we have lost our bearing on what it is to be an American–that citizens assimilate the national properties of religion, manners, habits and political principles rather than becoming a melting pot of diverse beliefs and practices.

Are you better off than four years ago? I remember that this was a Ronald Reagan theme as he ran against incumbent President Jimmy Carter. Americans responded with a resounding "NO." In fact, they were not better off. Under the thankfully short lived Carter Administration, interest rates were at 21%, unemployment was 7.5% (some areas 22%) and inflation was 13.5%. Things were so bad that the Misery Index became infamous, settling in at 19.72 by the time he left office. Gasoline at the pumps rose 103.77% during the Carter term. The Federal debt–which is what every citizen owes the government–under Carter was roughly $1.8 trillion by the time he left office.
In comparison, the man who occupies the Oval Office is on pace to be the next Jimmy Carter–on steroids. The current president has presided over gasoline prices rising 103.79%, according to US News and World Report. The reported unemployment rate is currently 8.2%, but some 88 million people have left the workforce because they can’t find jobs and are no longer reported as part of unemployment numbers. The misery index for the current White House is nearing the Carter era, currently around 11.23. The current Federal debt is over $15.6 TRILLION. The US Debt Clock says that total debt per US citizen stands at $182,805–this is what the White House has strapped our children and their children with.

With the all but certain nomination of Mitt Romney as the Republican candidate for President of the United States, America has turned. This is the greatest example in contemporary times where it is a certainty that America will not be led by a Christian president. The two candidates running for President worship a different Jesus than Yeshua Ha Mashiach. On October 12, 1816, Supreme Court Justice John Jay said,
"Providence has given our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as privilege and interest, of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."
America’s privilege and interest as defined by Jay will be officially abandoned in November.

After supporting the terrorist sponsoring Muslim Brotherhood in overthrowing several Middle Eastern governments for "democracy’s" sake, Fox and Politico report that White House officials are meeting with Muslim Brotherhood representatives. It is a well known fact that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin has close ties to the MB, and that several appointees to Homeland Security and the Pentagon are associated in some way with the terrorist organization. All the disclaimers have been made that the Muslim Brotherhood is no longer an advocate of violence, but of democracy. Lies all. And there are deceivers and dangerous traitors amongst America’s top echelon of leaders.

"Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."

Washington, DC has been the cradle of liberty since it became America’s Capital City in 1801. The distinct three branches of government, bringing each into accountability to the other; the Bill of Rights guaranteeing freedom of speech and religion among many other inalienable rights; the rich history of free markets and free men all have been an example to freedom loving peoples around the world. But just in one week, the man who occupies the Oval Office has bucked tradition and has given a glimpse of the tyranny to come if the current political climate is allowed by voters to continue into the future–it is a type and shadow of an America gone into captivity.
As the Supreme Court closed out debate over the rights-violating socialist healthcare mandate rammed through by the White House, the president offered words of warning. At an April 2 news conference, he said,
"Ultimately, I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress. And I’d just remind conservative commentators that for years what we’ve heard is, the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism or a lack of judicial restraint — that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law. Well, this is a good example."
