Faith

Oswald Chambers 90x115by Oswald Chambers

Without faith it is impossible to please Him . . . —Hebrews 11:6

Faith in active opposition to common sense is mistaken enthusiasm and narrow-mindedness, and common sense in opposition to faith demonstrates a mistaken reliance on reason as the basis for truth. The life of faith brings the two of these into the proper relationship. Common sense and faith are as different from each other as the natural life is from the spiritual, and as impulsiveness is from inspiration. Nothing that Jesus Christ ever said is common sense, but is revelation sense, and is complete, whereas common sense falls short. Yet faith must be tested and tried before it becomes real in your life.

“We know that all things work together for good . . .” (Romans 8:28)

so that no matter what happens, the transforming power of God’s providence transforms perfect faith into reality. Faith always works in a personal way, because the purpose of God is to see that perfect faith is made real in His children.

The Scott Brown Precedent and Israel

Caroline Glick 90x115by Caroline Glick

On Tuesday, US voters are set to repudiate US President Barak Obama’s agenda for their country. Unfortunately, based on his behavior in the face of a similar repudiation last January, it is safe to assume that Obama will not abandon his course.

Last year, in an attempt to block Obama’s plan to nationalize healthcare, Massachusetts voters elected Republican Scott Brown to the Senate. Brown was elected because he pledged to block Obamacare in the US Senate.

Swelling, Infection, Abscesses and Tumors

Michael Mickey 90x115by Michael Mickey

By now most everyone who has been following my writing for any period of time knows I suspect that implantable RFID microchips could (keyword: could) be the prophesied mark of the beast described in Revelation 13:16-17 in the making.

In the prophetic future the Antichrist is going to require all humanity to receive what will arguably serve both as a form of currency and a symbol of allegiance to him and his global regime.

Truth of the Virgin Birth: Under Attack

Dr. David Reagan 90x115by Dr. David Reagan

I’d like to begin by asserting my thesis right up front: Belief in the virgin birth of Jesus is absolutely essential to the Christian faith. To deny the virgin birth is to deny the deity of Jesus, and if Jesus was not God in the flesh, then you and I have no hope whatsoever.

Who leases their birthright?

“I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession;” (Genesis 17:8)

You almost have to hand it to those jokers down in Foggy Bottom. All the while they protest and maintain that they are “honest brokers,” “impartial” who want to do what is “best for both sides.”

Unreliable Voting Machines and Their Reliable Lying Administrators

Bill Wilson 90x115by Bill Wilson

The Clark County, Nevada Registrar of Voters Larry Lomax has responded to accusations that voting machines are automatically marking Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on early voting ballots. Lomax told reporters he has “reconciled” five reported discrepancies, but he won’t say how he fixed the problem. In fact, he is saying that its nobody’s business until after the election and he can’t guarantee there will not be more machines voting automatically for Reid. Lomax said,

The Vatican recently hosted a gathering of church officials called “A Synod of Bishops for the Middle East.” The group of 200 bishops wrestled with problems such as peace in the Middle East and the growing persecution of Christians and their exodus from Muslim countries.

Stop funding sworn enemy of Israel!

Craig R. Smith 90x115 by Craig R. Smith

I promised myself this week I would not write about anything involving President Barack Hussein Obama. I even avoided watching him on TV or listening to the radio. I really tried. However, the president makes it almost impossible to avoid his foolish behavior.

This week our beloved leader announced his support for the Palestinian people in the form of an additional $70 million in aid to the West Bank and Gaza. This brings the total aid pledged to date to $400 million for the Palestinians and by extension their leaders.

Has the president lost his mind?
